Wen she started her studies, she started complaining dat she is getting tired of goin from my house to school, cos it's far. She then begged me if she can find a room that is closer to the school & share the room wit a female student, to reduce the rent fees. Out of love & also my wish to see her successful, I agreed. I am a long distance truck driver, so we hardly spend time together. this weekend I was off, then she decided to come and spend the weekend wit me. one day, she went to the mall alone, then I called her, when she answer the phone, I heard a man's voice, but decided to keep quite till she came back, then I secretly checked her phone, since we share same password. Hugoh, from her WhatsApp chats, I found out that this is staying with a married man in a rented, well furnished house in town. The Worse part of it all is that her mother knows about this. The mother also sent her chat, telling her that she must not forget to delete anything related to that married man, anytime she is planning to meet me. It broke me Hugoh cos I have been the one paying for her rent & everything in school. With hope that this girl is staying wit a fellow gender who's also a student, not knowing that she has been staying with a married man. Wen I confronted her, she admited & confessed that she had been staying with this man from the day she moved out of my house. I was Rep yesterday when I was coming back from the hospital late in the night. Hello Mr. Hugoh! I av made a mistake, & I'm to blame for rv!n!ng my life. I'm in dire need of help. My dad was my sole supporter & educator, but he passed away before I completed my program. I was in my fourth year when he d!!£d, and with no one to turn to, I struggled to finish my studies. I used the little inheritance I had to complete my education, but after graduating, I found myself jobless & without any source of income. I wanted to participate in the NYSC program, but I lacked the financial means. Despite trying to borrow money from connections, I was unsuccessful. That's when I turned to an elderly woman in my street who had been asking me out for a long time. She offered to help me financially, but at a t£.rr!!.bl£ cost: she wanted me to nak her. Desperate, I agreed, and we nak without CD. After leaving for NYSC, I blocked her number, & she disappeared. It was only after I finished the program & fell seriously ill that I discovered I was H1V+. She had vanished, moving to Abuja because was only in my town for business purposes.
Note: I was aware of my H1V status which was negative before engaging with this woman. She was my last nak patna before I left for the NYSC program, & I av not nak since then – it's been almost 3 years now. Now, I'm struggling to survive. I don't have a job, and I'm barely able to eat. I'm on medication, but it's hard to take without proper food. I'm not begging for food or a partner; I'm begging for work. Any work will do – house help, sells boy, messenger, gatekeeper, anything. I'm willing to travel to another town for a job. I'm a graduate of English & Literary Studies, a Muslim from the North. I'm dy!!ng, not from H!V, but from hvnga, joblessness, sadness, & d£.pr£.$$!0n.
