Tech is the tool. Purpose is the engine. 🌍💡
​

It’s one thing to teach a young person how to design or use the internet. It’s another thing entirely to teach them why it matters.
​Between the practical sessions, we paused the screens to talk about the bigger picture:

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
​Led by our Project Lead, Jacob Waniyon Francis, this session wasn't about software. It was about responsibility.

​We challenged the students in Mushin to look beyond the "cool factor" of tech and see it as a vehicle for change.
We didn't just want them to be "tech bros" or "designers."

We want them to be Changemakers in their fields.

​Jacob broke it down simply:
How does your new skill solve hunger?
How does it improve education?
How does it create decent work for your community?

​The shift in the room was palpable. They realized that they aren't just learning a skill—they are being equipped to solve the problems they see every day.
​We build techies, yes. But first, we build leaders.

​

Day 2. The Grand Finale.

​If Day 1 was about connection, Day 2 was about creation.
​We didn't drive all the way from Badagry to Mushin just to talk at them. We came to give them tools they can use today, tomorrow, and forever.

​Today, we introduced the students to
​At 10:00 AM, most of them believed graphic design was magic reserved for "tech wizards."
By 2:00 PM, they realized they were the magicians.

​Watching a young adult drag, drop, and visualize their ideas for the first time is a feeling you can’t buy. The hesitation in the room vanished, replaced by the quiet focus of creation.
​We celebrated 5 years of the best way we know how—by passing the torch.
