And I’m thinking of the Praise & Worship sessions.

Dear worship leader:
Can you try, this Sunday, to make it ALL ABOUT HIM, during the Praise & Worship session?
Please try to not make it all about us, during the Praise & Worship session, this Sunday.

And Sir/Ma, have you picked your songs yet?
Please try to NOT include “It is my turn to shine” and “When you see me dance, I dance like a winner man.” And please leave out “Favour” and other trending songs like “I carry oil for head o” that have nothing to do with Praise & Worship; we could still sing those songs during the service, but not during the short session designated for Praise and Worship! Could we just hallow that session, and dedicate it simply to Him? Thank you!

And yes, I know our dancing could be a great act of worship to God, but could you TRY to not make the session all about vigorous dancing that must be enforced on everyone to your satisfaction? I believe the worship session doesn’t have to look like a dance party to be acceptable to the Lord.

Have a great time in Church this Sunday. May our worship be acceptable to the Father.
