All you need to know about Azelaic acid:
•Overusing it can irritate your skin barrier
•It can help with textured skin and clogged pores
•Applying it on damp skin can make irritation worse for some people
• More products does not mean faster results.
•Soms people use it morning and night but beginners should ease into it
•it’s often recommended for acne prone and sensitive skin types

Sunscreen isn’t optional 😭
It’s what protects your skin from dark spots, sun damage, and all the skincare progress you’re trying to build.
Niacinamide is great but it works better when you pair it right with other ingredients. When Pairing with AHA/BHA, use it with caution because some of the products formulated with them already contain Niacinamide.
If I was treating acne again…
1. I’d stop mixing too many actives at once
2. I’d pick ONE acne treatment first and stay consistent with it
3. I’d use salicylic acid for clogged pores and oily skin
4. I’d start retinoids slowly instead of damaging my skin barrier
5. I’d focus on hydration too because dehydrated skin can get more irritated
6. I’d stop over-exfoliating trying to “dry out” my acne
7. I’d wear sunscreen seriously because acne marks get darker without it
8. I’d give products enough time to work before dumping them
9. And honestly… I’d stop taking skincare advice from every random TikTok comment section
10. I’d book a skincare consultation
