Happy birthday to me

Dear Nigerians,

I want to sincerely appeal to your sense of reasoning.

Since the 2023 elections and the loss of Peter Obi, have you noticed how suddenly many Nigerians were taught to hate certain people not because of facts, but because of propaganda pushed by some bloggers and so called Obedients?

Today, anyone who speaks differently or supports the present government is immediately attacked, abused, or labeled an enemy. People are encouraged to hate respected Nigerians such as Oluremi Tinubu, Reno Omokri, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Wole Soyinka, Pastor Tunde Bakare, David Umahi, Nyesom Wike, Godswill Akpabio, Godwin Obaseki, Sheriff Oborevwori, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu—simply because they don’t align with one political movement.

Have you ever paused to ask why?

Why should supporting a different political view automatically make someone evil, wicked, or corrupt?
Why should Nigerians be encouraged to fight themselves while politicians move on with their lives?

Politics should never turn brothers against brothers or poison our thinking. When propaganda controls your emotions, it becomes a virus in the system destroying unity, critical thinking, and national progress.

You don’t have to love any government.
You don’t have to hate any politician.
But you must use your own mind.

Think independently. Question narratives. Refuse manipulation. Nigeria belongs to all of us not bloggers, not political movements, not propaganda machines.

Use your mind. Think.

Be yourself

You watched Davido's wedding? Did you see his friends? That is what a circle of friends should be. People who are happy, proud and supportive of your accomplishments. Many people who think they have a circle actually have a noose. A noose around their necks. People who do not support or uplift you, but are quick to find fault with you when you start progressing. Look, some people can be in your circle without being in your corner. Without the right circle, you will have a cycle of failure! Even if you do not smoke, just by walking with a smoker, you will breathe in second-hand smoke. And even if you are not yet rich, you will enjoy secondhand wealth just by accompanying a wealthy person. Your circle matters.
The right ring will bring out the king in you. The wrong clique will weigh you down like a tone of bricks. By Reno.
