In His steps.

To the glory of God, all my last 80 years life experiences as recorded in my Autobiography, though not chronologically arranged, were designed by the grace of God, to follow @ in His steps. In advertently , I had omitted some life experiences among which had enabled the very desire for putting down the recording Obviously by the grace of God, those omissions will be taken care of in the next edition of my Autobiography. Life @ in His steps, obviously results in victory for those determined to walk under the spiritual guidance of the scriptures by faith accompanied by works.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, @ the time when He was on this earth , would always utilise every opportunity to mend lives by either healing the sick, casting out demons, teaching the word of life, performing miracles , transforming the lost to new and regain ful life of hope and joy. On the whole, the Lord capitalized every opportunity to please His father .No wonder @ the time after He was baptized in the water by John, a voice from heaven said, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Can you and I make every given opportunity we have to please God by what we speak with the mouth, what we do, where we go, the thought we maintain in our hearts. I believe that it is necessary to covet every given opportunity available to do so to walk in His steps.

I just came back now from a burial. Many people now die per second per second without age demarcation. The question arises. Where are all these in eternity? It bothers me. Does it also bother you? Oh! ,thank God. My question has amazingly been answered in the scriptures. 1Thess 4:14 , "If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him all those who sleep in Jesus. If you believe in Jesus, you are then to walk in His steps.

Before i continue, I want to apologise for a very long brake on, In His steps. Jesus started with prayer and ended with prayer. Folk do you know what? Ab initio , He is an integral part of the Father. The Father and the Son are one entity. Hence that communication becomes very imperative. Every thing He would want to do, the Father would be in agreement and part of show. He would always be out very early b/4 day brake in a solitary place to pray. The Bible says, He went about doing good. The Father is good, the Son is equally good always. The simple message, we receive from Him through very close relationship as a friend, a master and Lord.

A plant can not bear fruits neither have it's leaves survive a very long period of harsh whether except it's rooted in water prone environment that provides the required mineral resources that provides for life. Equally of importance, one can not walk in His steps except he/she is rooted in His words. Jn 15:3-4 states that , "you are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself , unless it abides in the vine, neither can you ,unless you abide in Me". This can only be achieved by His grace through constant practice of habitual reading and practicing the word of God daily.

When Moses with Joshua ascended the mountain to receive the commandments from God, his return to the people of Isreal was delayed . The people's confidence was no more intact, hence they turned back to idolatory and sinned against God . They provoked God to anger. How often do we provoke God to anger by what we do in our closeths, offices, work environments, the thoughts in our hearts etc .. just because those that we look upon as mentors, pastors spiritual leaders, mordels are not physically present with us. It is on record in the scriptures that Jesus Christ went all about doing good when He was here on eath.He pleased His Father in all that He did. For us to walk in His steps, the bible in the book of Phil 2: 13 says, "not only in my presence but also in my absence ......work out your salvation with fear and trembling. ... For it is God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure. There must be that real consciousness of the presence of God every moment with a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ..

It's only by walking and working in His steps that one can have hope for the future. He has the whole world in His hands. Eternity belongs to Him and to all all who walk and work in His steps. Jesus is Lord.

I have been crucified with Christ, it's no longer I who live, but Christ ĺives in me; but the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me Gal 2:20

Jesus said, ' I am the light of the world .He that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.
