002 surah (Al-Baqarah) Verse 114

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَـٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِى خَرَابِهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌۭ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

Who does more wrong than those who prevent Allah’s Name from being mentioned in His places of worship and strive to destroy them? Such people have no right to enter these places except with fear.1 For them is disgrace in this world, and they will suffer a tremendous punishment in the Hereafter.

A chatbot is... It's an agent in software that can have conversations with people using a chat interface. In a typical conversation, the chatbot will introduce itself, ask the user a question, and then offer to do something. By analyzing the user's response, the chatbot can deduce the question's intended meaning. It will then provide an answer that is significant, either by addressing the question directly or by asking for further information. Within the bounds of the chatbot's functionality, a good chatbot can maintain this kind of natural back-and-forth. The user feels understood and assisted by them. They establish a connection with the user without feigning humanity.

Antonio Cangiano, a software developer and AI evangelist at IBM, discusses the growing popularity of chatbots, which are conversational AI applications. Gartner predicts that by next year, a quarter of all customer service operations will use chatbots to assist customers. This course aims to teach individuals and companies how to build chatbots without writing any code. The course covers introducing chatbots, intents, and entities; dialog design; best practices; deploying chatbots to websites; and advanced topics for improving the user experience. The course is hands-on, with graded quizzes and an exam at the end. The theoretical background is provided, and students work in labs to experience the process of creating chatbots. Cangiano hopes that this course will help him break into a career in AI.
