A social enterprise designed to nudge the world closer to the attainment of the SDGs

This month, as we mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are choosing to do more than “raise awareness.” We are choosing to confront the culture that protects harm, to listen without interrogation, and to believe people without conditions. Because awareness means nothing if it doesn’t change how we respond.

The kind of love that allows you to remain yourself, stay connected to your people, and still grow alongside your partner. Save this if it resonates, and share it with someone who needs the reminder.

Here's hoping that we truly reflect on what today represents.

A world where women's voices matter. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Merry Christmas to the women who have put the weight down. The ones who no longer feel obligated to be everything to everyone. The ones who have stepped away from roles that were assigned, not chosen. Walking away from unnecessary emotional labor is not selfishness it is clarity. It is recognizing that constantly absorbing expectations, smoothing egos, and shrinking yourself is not a virtue.

There is a particular kind of strength in unlearning the pressure to overperform womanhood. To stop proving you are “good,” “patient,” “strong,” or “selfless” enough to deserve rest. Some women this year decided they will no longer be the default caretaker of everyone’s feelings. They will no longer stretch beyond capacity to maintain appearances. They chose boundaries over approval, peace over praise.

So this Christmas is also for the women who disrupted tradition in order to protect themselves. The ones who said no. The ones who delegated. The ones who let things be imperfect. The ones who are redefining what love and responsibility look like on their own terms. May this season meet you in your softness, not in your sacrifice.

The conversation is not about exploiting anyone. It is about acknowledging that economic decisions in relationships are shaped by structure, not just emotion.

Before using labels, ask:
Who benefits from this narrative?

Casually scrolled X and stumbled on this tweet. So I thought I should talk about the obsession with submission.

This obsession especially when it’s constantly placed on women has become louder than it is thoughtful. Submission is often stripped of context and turned into a tool for control, not partnership. It’s presented as the ultimate virtue, while qualities like mutual respect, emotional intelligence, accountability, and shared responsibility are quietly ignored.

What makes the fixation unnecessary is how one sided the conversation usually is. We barely see the same energy applied to men

At its core, this obsession reflects discomfort with women having agency. A confident, self-aware woman who can say no is often labeled “rebellious” or “too much,” while silence is praised as virtue. But relationships thrive on partnership, not hierarchy. Submission.

Submission is a concept I've found unnecessary over the years and instead, would rather we emphasized mutual respect.

A community of women who have chosen courage and solidarity.

These fellows have spent months learning, questioning and finding their voices for themselves and for the women who's stories have been ignored.

These women put in the work, they are the legacy in motion. Congratulations to them 🥂

Gender based violence now includes digital, emotional, financial, sexual, and psychological violations that strip women of safety, autonomy, and freedom. When we name these behaviours clearly, we hold abusers accountable and empower survivors to recognise what’s happening to them.

Violence has evolved and our awareness must evolve too.
