The Circle of Willis — Nature’s Brain Backup System
Deep at the base of your brain lies a remarkable ring-shaped network of arteries called the Circle of Willis. Think of it as a built-in emergency power supply for your brain.
It connects the major blood vessels from the neck (the carotid and vertebral arteries) & distributes blood evenly to both sides of the brain.
Why is it so important?
Bcos when one artery gets blocked, this circular design allows blood to reroute through other pathways — protecting ur brain from sudden damage.
But when it fails…
A weak point in this circle can balloon & rupture, causing a brain aneurysm or stroke.
That’s why high blood pressure, smoking, & uncontrolled cholesterol are dangerous , they weaken these vessels.
It's important to know that:
Your brain depends on a constant, uninterrupted blood supply. Treat ur blood vessels well — ur Circle of Willis is working behind the scenes every second to keep you alive.

The Circle of Willis: Your Brain’s Emergency Backup System!
Deep inside your brain sits a special “traffic roundabout” made of arteries called the Circle of Willis.
When one route is blocked or blood flow drops, this circle opens alternative pathways to keep oxygen flowing to your brain cells.
• This is why some people survive early signs of stroke
• It helps balance blood supply across both halves of the brain
• It’s your body’s built-in emergency plan
Your brain never sleeps & neither does its protection system.
This week, choose yourself intentionally.
Your body is your first home , treat it with respect.
• Drink water before you drink stress
• Move your body, even if it’s just 10 minutes before Ur body move you
• Eat something that nourishes you, not just fills you
• Prioritize sleep — your hormones will thank you
• Check in with your mental health, not just your messages
Small healthy habits done consistently beat big changes done occasionally.
New week, fresh discipline, better health. Let’s do it.

A baby’s airways are only millimeters wide. RSV knows that.
RSV isn’t just a “common cold” , it’s a viral invasion that shuts down the tiniest airways in a child’s lungs spread by coughing or sneezing.
Respiratory syncytial virus targets the delicate bronchioles, triggers inflammation, clogs them with mucus & makes every breath a struggle. That’s why RSV is the world’s leading cause of acute lower respiratory infections in children.
Each year, RSV is responsible for 100,000 deaths & 3.6 million hospitalizations in children under 5, with infants under 6 months being the most vulnerable according to WHO
Their immature immune systems + narrow airways = a dangerous combination.
And here’s the heartbreaking part:
97% of RSV-related infant deaths happen in low- and middle-income countries, where access to oxygen, critical care & early diagnosis is limited.
But science is fighting back.
The good news:
1. We now have two powerful protectors:
Maternal vaccine: When given in the third trimester, it boosts antibodies in the mother. These antibodies cross the placenta & enter the baby’s bloodstream, forming a protective shield in the first fragile months of life.
2. Long-acting monoclonal antibody: This can be given to newborns at birth or just before RSV season. It provides targeted immunity straight to the infant’s lungs, blocking the virus from attaching & multiplying.
With these tools, we can save lives — breath by breath.
People don’t realize the kind of peace that hits different when you come home, straighten your space, whip up a good meal, take a long shower, and just lock into your own life—no noise, no drama.
1day now, somebody will just invade it just Lidat 😊
