I love how this school by my house drills their pupils on multiplication every morning. I did the same when I was a classroom teacher. Trust me, if your child understands multiplication, their mathematics problem is solved by one-third. I learnt this many years ago and it works. Any child who is good at multiplication wouldn't find maths difficult. Help your child to understand multiplication from lower basics.

Your child will pick up a greater percentage of your behaviour and attitude towards people. If you are kind to people, you will raise kind children and if you are hostile to people, your children will follow in your footsteps.

I used to have a client for whom I tutored her 16-year-old Mathematics and science, she most times would ask her girl to serve me refreshments whenever went to teach her son, especially on very hot days.

One day, my client was not home when I arrived and in the course of our lesson, the help came to serve me refreshments.

In shock, I asked her, who asked you to? My boy responded, and said, "I did"!

"But, no! You don't have to", I said. Then he said to me, "That's what my mum would have done if she was home". I told him not to bother and that I was fine, G said to me, "You can't say no because you wouldn't say no to my mom".

Ewwweeee!!!

I was so pleased and at the same time proud of the son my client raised.

My client was and is a very kind woman, very soft spoken and she also did well in raising kind and compassionate children. She is reading this post as she is my friend here.
