Due to a drastic decline in the educational sector cm reading culture and fervor associated with literary competitions in Nigeria, the above named organization has come up with a concept to develop the literary section of the educational sector. The concept developed by the organization is called SPELL & THRILL! a replica of the internationally extolled Spelling Bee competition which started in t
he United States of America in 1925. competition which was successfully organized in partnership with Ondo State Ministry of Education, Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board and some private institutions between 11th of June and 5th of July,2012 is aimed at extensively developing the literary arm of Education in Ondo state and Nigeria at large. The literary arm has been one of the neglected arms of Education in Nigeria when talking about the extra-curricular activities put in place for the students. Mathematics and Sciences have been given the priority not minding that language is human’s finest asset. Since English is our official language, we can conclude that English language is Nigeria’s finest asset. Considering other subjects being taught in schools. English language is the basement of learning any subject. The teachers / lecturers express themselves using English language. English Language being a tool of communication, SPELL & THRILL! Will in all ramifications accentuate these communication skills in the intended participants. Aims of the competition

To help students develop correct English language usage that will help them all their lives

To foster a healthy and competitive annual inter-school competitive rivalry
To entrench the tenets of self-confidence, stage composure and self esteem in students
Our Goals
Our programs aim to provide young people between the age of 7 and 16 with the opportunity to participate in a positive competitive spelling exchange to improve their proficiency in English Language, spelling capabilities, comprehension and communication skills. Later we intend to graduate to adult spelling bee, celebrity spelling bee and some other wonderful concepts. To develop self-esteem, confidence and inter-personal skill of students by exposing them to positive role models, tutors and peer support throughout the course of preparation. The championship and year round follow activities, promote community-based partnership by engaging members of various communities in advancing the benefits of SPELL & THRILL. Getting the youths involved and promoting the importance of education, especially reading comprehension and spelling.
