Tinubu Suspends Cashless Payment at Lagos & Abuja Airports After Gridlock ✈️🇳🇬

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate suspension of the cashless payment system at federal airports after massive traffic jams caused travelers to miss flights in Lagos and Abuja.

Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo says the decision was made out of empathy for Nigerians after the poorly planned rollout created long queues at airport toll gates.
For now, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria will return to a hybrid system allowing cash payments while a better solution is developed.
