Most captions lose people in the first line.

Here's how to make sure yours doesn't

Step 1 β€” Start with a hook.
Your first line is everything. It should create curiosity, call out a pain point, or make a bold statement.
If the first line doesn't earn attention nothing else matters.

Step 2 β€” Keep sentences short.
Long paragraphs get skipped.
One idea per line.

Step 3 β€” Write like you talk.
Nobody wants to read a press release so be human,conversational & sound like a real person.

Step 4 β€” Add value in the middle.
Educate, inspire, entertain.
Give them a reason to keep reading before you ask for anything.

Step 5 β€” End with one clear CTA.
Don't confuse your audience with five different instructions.
