Earlier this year, I was honoured to serve as a Visual Arts Reviewer for the 3rd International Mental Health Conference, hosted by the Asido Foundation .

I had the opportunity to review powerful art submissions that told deeply personal stories about mental health, reminding me that art is more than expression - it’s healing, storytelling, and a bridge to understanding.

As a visual artist and mental health advocate, this is work I care deeply about. Creating and supporting spaces where people can be seen, felt, and heard through art will always matter to me. Engaging with these works, filled with vulnerability, courage, and lived experiences, reaffirmed something I deeply believe: art is not merely decorative; it is transformative.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute at the intersection of art and mental health advocacy, and I’m open to future collaborations ✨

There's something truly special about seeing people connect with my work. Every pause, every curious glance, and every moment of connection reminds me why I started creating. It’s always a little surreal.

Taking candid photos of those interactions became one of my favorite parts of being at the fair. Thank you for stopping by ✨💙
