OGP Week 2025 and The Development of NAP IV
PROMAD Infotech Foundation joined key stakeholders in Abuja for Nigeria's National Action Plan (NAP) IV development under the Open Government Partnership framework. The May 20th meeting, led by OGP researcher Mia Katan, focused on creating ambitious commitments to transform Nigerian governance through better civic participation and accountability.
The committee set December 2025 as the deadline to finish the design of NAP IV, with implementation through 2027. Unlike previous plans, NAP IV emphasizes measurable changes that citizens can see and feel in their daily government interactions.
As part of the drafting committee, PROMAD is helping shape participatory, digital, accountable and transparent governance in Nigeria from 2025-2027.
