JUST IN: Ex-Niger commissioner alleges radioactive battery hidden in wife’s bra.

A former commissioner for Science and Technology in Niger State, Abubakar Katcha has raised an alarm over the discovery of a radioactive battery hidden inside his wife’s brazzier.

Katcha said the brazzier imprinted “made in China” was bought from the Kure Market in Minna and caused his wife to develop symptoms that were feared to be cancer.

The ex-commissioner who made this known further disclosed that while his wife battled with the treatment of the ailment on her breast for several months, their newborn baby surprisingly has refused to suck from her breast milk.

According to Katcha, “What happened to my wife is something I don’t want to happen to anybody in this country or the world because it is really frightening.

What happened was that in October 2023, my wife delivered a baby boy, and we were preparing for the baby’s naming ceremony, so I gave her money to buy things for the occasion.

“She went to the Kure market in Minna to purchase the things she wanted to use for the ceremony. When she got there she decided to also buy a brazzier. She didn’t know that the brazzier she bought was implanted with a radioactive substance.

“After the naming ceremony, she started wearing the brazzier, and after some time, she started noticing swelling on her breasts and brownish discharge. It was something very close to the ni**le.

The baby could no longer suck the breasts’ milk.

“We went to Nouozo Pharmacy in Minna, and the women there advised her that she should get feeding bottles and press her breast milk into the feeding bottle so she could feed the child. Meanwhile, they gave her medication like antibiotics, very costly antibiotics.

“In the process, we didn’t know what caused the problem. When that thing was treated the child started sucking the breasts’ milk again until last fasting period when we were about to start fasting. I advised my wife that since she was desirous of participating in fasting and the baby is already one-and-half years old, why wouldn’t she want to stop feeding him with breasts’ milk.

Interestingly, on May 18, 2025 she was washing the brazzier when she noticed something strange hidden inside the brazzier. So, she used her own initiative to remove those strange things in the brazzier. After she removed them, she brought them to me. It was a small battery and another small substance inside. When both are joined together, they produce high radiation, and it is that high radiation that causes cancer,” the ex- Commissioner narrated.

He continued, “It is the two sides of the brazzier that had this battery and some other objects after I opened them further to dissect them. The brazzier was imprinted as ‘Made in China’ along with the brazzier’s size number.

“That is the reason why I am here for the government and the public to know that there are funny things happening in this country.

The government may have to check some of these imported things coming into this country which they need to put a stop to because to my understanding, I think these people producing these brazziers want to ignite cancer in our women so that they will patronise their medical facilities and medications,” he concluded.

HOW AREWA IS LOSING ITS BEST BRAINS

Whenever the name Arewa is mentioned, the first thing that comes to one's mind will be Sir Ahmadu Bello, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Murtala Muhammad etc...
These are what Americans will describe as "Patriots" and sons of Arewa. They do not acquire so much Educational qualifications as we may say, but history will not forget them as instrumental in shaping Nigeria's history.

In 1999. President Obasanjo from South Assembled one of the best brains from Arewa in Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. And according to El-Rufai's " Accidental Public Servant" Ribadu has been exceptional right from their school days though they were not that close. The incidence of Kongo Campus where Nuhu Ribadu returned the slap by an Armed robber who attempts to sn**ch his friends car.

The story of how El-Rufai challenged the then President-elect at the transition Committee level and how they were all brought on board to serve Obasanjo's Administration was mind blowing.

One became the Pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC ) While the other heads Bureau for Public Enterprise ( BPE )and later one of the best Ministers of FCT.

After Obasanjo, I have not seen another President who assembled Northern Best brains like President Buhari in the likes of Prof.Isa Ali Pantami from Madina, Saudi Arabia, Jelani Aliyu from General Motors of USA, Tukur Buratai from Multi-National Joint Task Force Djemena, Chad, Prof. Usman Yusuf also from United States.

What really happened to them all is, they were all Consumed by the System and the power that be.No matter how good you are, a rotten system will consume you. If it's corruption you're fighting, it will fight you back just like the Former NHIS Boss Prof. Usman Yusuf who Openly fights Corruption and the system while he's in Kuje Prison now.

The El-Rufai that we know and believe to be the future of the North is fighting for survival with his close Political ally in Ribadu.

while the North is loosing its best brains to political rivalry, infatuation of Power and lack of Political Ideologies.

Young Governors with future in the likes of Yahaya Bello have lost it through Corrupt propensity and Political Euphoria.

When you take a look at the Governors who served from 1999 till date you may agree with me that yes we're loosing out; as no one is still Functional Politically with Political Influence and affluence.

Unless and until we go back to the drawing board, design a Plan with Political Ideologies on what we want, how we want it and to whom we want or intends to achieve it; there will be no hope for the future of Arewa as many promising leaders have gone or are going down.

Insecurity will continue to consume us even with National Security Adviser, " Senior and Junior Ministers of Defense" on our side. The absence of Politcial will and lack of diversification to other economic realities will continue to take us backward.

We must wake up from our rather Deep and long slumber in competing with states like Lagos or Port Harcourt rather than concentrating on Mass Weddings, Wheelbarrow and Goat empowerment Programs.

We must come up with Programs that will empower the youths in Skills Acquisitions rather than turning them to Data Boys to attacks ourselves for Political Rivalry otherwise our numbers will be non-futuristic numbers except on Elections days.

ON 10B NAIRA DISBURSEMENTS

Let me suggest that:

The 5 Area Councils of Abaji, Kuje, Kwali, Gwagwalada, Bwari are to receive 1.5billion each, remaining 2.5 Billions With AMAC to go with 2Billion.

The remaining 500M should be disbursed among Youth Associations and Organizations.

Breakdown on how this money will be disbursed should be as follows :-

* The 5 Area Councils should empower 4,500 Youths with 300,000 Naira each × 4,500 = 1,350,000,000 remaining 150,000,000 for Administrative Charges and Miscellaneous Expenses.

* While AMAC Youths should get 350,000 × 5,000 = 1,750,000,000.
Remaining 250,000,000 for Administrative and Miscellaneous Expenses.

In the 5 Area Councils, 450 Youths will be extracted from each Ward while AMAC will extract 416 Youth from the 12 Wards of AMAC.

Total = 27,500 Youths will be empowered directly among which there will be barbers, Bricklayers, Make-Up Artists,hair dressers, Wheelbarrow pushers, Students etc

With my simple analytical analysis as a Layman, the renew hope agenda will be felt directly and will surely cushion the effects of hardship providing start- up capital for many business owners amongst the Youths of FCT

We wanna say a big thank you to all our followers, friends and colleagues in the struggle for the the support, patience and encouragements we enjoyed from them in 2023.

Perhaps we may offend some knowingly or unknowingly. All we ask I forgiveness as we also forgive everyone that offends us.

Many of you believed in everything you see about this page based on trust, accuracy and truth we write while sometimes it's our opinion. We say thank you and you shall indeed find us more objective and sincere in our posts.

In this page, we have Politicians, Technocrats, Captains of industry, Business men and religious leaders but the level of our professionalism and tolerance is what keeps the page intact. We say thank you!

2023 is about to round up, let's stay and do things positive in 2024. Believe in the doings of the Almighty as your destiny is not in anyone's hands but Him.

BAD PRECEDENTS KILLS FCT POLITICS AND POLITICIANS

The 1999 constitution is what r***d FCT and its people with a clause that only God knows when such clause will be uprooted and replaced with more people oriented legislations . Perhaps with the appointment of first Indegenous minister in the Federal Executive Council, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

The purpose of this piece is to remind us on the need to strengthen the democratic values through filling other political Positions for a strategic Political Party that wants to win future elections.

In the last eight years of the last Administration , only one minister served, but it took the Government few months to appoint Mandate Secretaries in each term (7 months or so in each 4years term).

Other appointments like that of Boards were also delayed with technocrats occupying the larger percentage of them.

Elected office holders ( National Assembly Representatives ) offered few direct dividends of democracy to the people compared to their counterparts from other states.

Perhaps the number of House of Reps members with a single Senator could be a setback while some of them were suffering from what I described Superiority Complex at both green or red Chamber, 70% of FCT problems lies with who represents the capital City and its People.

Hitherto, when appointments were given on time, politicians are empowered on time and good synergy is established, its a sure banger for any party to prepare early to win Elections.

When Elected office holders and appointees offers true, direct, effective and efficient dividends of democracy to the people as seen in some states, the people will be empowered to give their best in winning elections. 2023 FCT Council elections is a clear evidence that entails the situation of party men on ground.

Party Leadership must be carried along 100% with all the government activities, as the party is and will always remain Supreme looking at its closeness to the grassroots.

The earlier we do the right thing, the better. A stitch in time, saves nine.

OPEN LETTER TO AMAC CHAIRMAN BY NYANYA AREA A EXTENSION RESIDENCE

Dear AMAC Chairman,

We're writing after series of appeal letters to your Honorable office in regards to the stoppage of works BY BLACK GOLD CONSTRUCTION LTD, a company your institution AMAC gave road Construction at Area A Nyanya Extension behind NNPC filling Station.

He perhaps started wel last year with the clearance of the narrow road which is also a road where hundreds of people ply it everyday.

Unfortunately today, the road has turned into dead trap with hoodlums operating on day and night especially in raining season where thousands can not access their home when coming back from work or when going out to work.

The said contractor vacated the site after what we describe as " Road Spoilage attitudes of Contractors".

We are appealing to the Council under your Leadership to compel the contractor to resume back to site to end the sufferings of the people in this said area.

We used media here when all our appeal letters sent couldn't see a reply or call for a roundtable discussions as taxpayers under AMAC.

Thank you in anticipation to hear from the Council.
