My Whistle Voice

People say, “Wow, you can sing! You have such a beautiful voice.”
And I smile, but inside, I remember when it wasn’t always like that.
There was a time people said my voice was too tiny, too noisy and some even laughed when I tried to sing. Little by little, I started believing maybe they were right.

So I stopped singing for a while.
Not because I didn’t love it,
but because their words made me feel small.

But somehow, God didn’t let go of me.
Even in my quiet moments, songs would still rise in my heart.
It was like He was gently saying, “Loveth, sing again.”
And when I finally did, something changed. The same whistle voice they once mocked
became the same voice that drew me closer to Him.
Now, when I sing, it’s not about sounding perfect, it’s about giving glory to the One who gave me a voice at all.

My voice might be soft,
it might not reach everyone,
but it reaches heaven and that’s enough for me.

So yes, I have a whistle voice.
And I’ll use it, and keep using it,
to glorify God, for as long as I breathe.

No One Is Ugly

No one is ugly.
We just live in a world that sometimes forgets how to see people.
We get judged before we’re understood by faces, bodies, and things that were never meant to define us.

But when you take a moment to really look,
you’ll see that everyone carries something beautiful.
It could be the way they laugh without holding back,
the kindness in their voice,
the courage to keep showing up even when life’s been unfair.

Beauty isn’t perfect skin or a fancy face.
It’s how a person makes others feel.
It’s the warmth they carry, the peace they bring,
the love they give without expecting much in return.

No one is ugly.
Some people are just seen through the wrong eyes.
And some have been made to believe they’re not enough but they are. They always were.

So if no one has told you today,
you’re not ugly, not even close.
You’re human and that’s already beautiful.
