Why the price of palm oil isn’t going down as usual during storage

There is this farmer here in Abia state I buy my palm oil from

So I was discussing with him early last month (February) and he was like he don’t think palm oil will go down to storage price this year

I was curious because normally between February ending to early march the price of palm oil usually comes down so well

I asked him why he feels the price won’t go down

He said their is no palm kernel on the palm trees which is a sign of scarcity

And when there is no excess supply there won’t be price crash

We are currently in March and the price of palm oil isn’t showing any sign of reduction

It is now that all what he said are making more sense to me.

I was about to start packing when one customer came and ordered for Butter beans

So we were discussing and she was like I sold absolutely nothing today

That the money she’s using to buy this beans was the money she came to the market with.

I encouraged the money, then she left.

Me that was complaining that sales wasn’t as expected was speechless.

I entered my shop and began to thank God for the low sales o, BECAUSE LOW SALES IS BETTER THAN NO SALES.
