Big news from the Element Consulting Engineers family.

After years of exceptional leadership - including stepping up for us during one of our toughest chapters - our MD Batch Loftie-Eaton is passing the baton. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has built and given to this firm.

Effective 1 May 2026, Hentie Kotze - a founder member who has been with Element since day one in 2008 - steps into the MD role. And we are equally excited to welcome Armand Fourie as our new Mechanical Director, bringing deep expertise in fire engineering and MEP to our team.

New leadership. Same commitment. Exciting times ahead.

Our office will be closed from 12 December 2025 to 5 January 2026 for the holiday season. We wish all our clients, partners, and colleagues a joyful festive season and a happy New Year! We look forward to reconnecting in January

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our former Managing Director, Kassie Coetzee.

A leader of exceptional integrity, vision, and humility, Kassie left a lasting impact on Element and on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

Kassie’s dedication and guidance shaped our company in meaningful ways, and his contributions will be remembered with the highest respect.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved family and all who mourn his loss.

May he rest in peace.

🏗️ Project Update: Goreangab Mall, Windhoek
Exciting progress on site as we move into the final structural stages of the Goreangab Mall development!
- Roofing installation is well underway, covering more than 15,000 m² of retail and service space.
- Nearly all 350 structural beams and 820 columns have been completed.
- The full 10,200 m² of post-tensioned slabs are now in place.

🌊 Construction Progress Update Photos of Ohangwena Wellfields 2 Water 🏗️💧
Some of the project highlights:
•Omakango: 6.5m high Circular Reinforced Concrete Reservoir with a 42m internal diameter for a total capacity of 7.6 ML
•Ondobe: 6m high Circular Reinforced Concrete Reservoir with a 29m internal diameter for a total capacity of 3.3 ML
•Eenhana: 4m high Circular Reinforced Concrete Reservoir with a 30m internal diameter for a total capacity of 2.1 ML
•Over 200km of water pipelines between various boreholes
•Reverse osmosis plant and operational structures

When completed, this will be equivalent to a total water storage capacity of 13 million liters, or slightly more than five Olympic-sized swimming pools. Along with the other process and operational buildings that supports these reservoirs, this project signifies sustainable water usage and ensuring access to clean water for our community. 🌍
