Today, 20 May 2026, our Level 1 trainees participated in a Health & Safety Induction facilitated by our Health & Safety Trainer, Ms. Ndahafa Johannes.

The session covered workshop safety, PPE use, Fire Prevention and Control , and first aid basics, ensuring trainees are well prepared before entering practical training.

At COSDEC Tsumeb, we are committed to building both skills and a strong culture of safety.

On 13 May 2026, COSDEC Tsumeb hosted its exciting annual Trade Tournament, where trainees showcased not only their technical skills in the workshop and classroom, but also outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination on the field and court. 🔥⚽🏐

The event brought together different departments in a spirit of unity, healthy competition, and true COSDEC pride. Congratulations to our deserving champions:

⚽ Men’s Soccer Champions: Plumbing Department
🏐 Netball Champions: Office Administration Level 2
⚽ Women’s Soccer Champions: Hospitality Department

A big well done to all participating departments for demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament. Special appreciation goes to the trainers, staff members, and partners whose support made the event a success.
