/Light for the hunger .

Today we remember the difficult times we went through in March 2019, this week we remember the tragedy we went through during Cyclone Idai, where many lives were lost and families lost their loved ones, property, houses, different crops in the fields, breeding animals of different species that were the basis of the family's livelihood, and many entrepreneurs lost their businesses, churches closed with their buildings completely destroyed, but everything remains in our life story to tell to the next generation and in our daily lives.

Today there is a positive recovery in the families, but the damage and after-effects of Idai are still prevalent, such as many of the fields are no longer productive, climate change is affecting them negatively, with droughts, intense rains that destroy crops, intense sun that destroys crops, all of this causing extreme hunger in the communities because more than two harvests have been lost, causing farmers to abandon their activities, As we all know, agriculture is the basis for the development of a people in society, without food there is no mental, emotional, psychological, physical rest or peace and joy, people can't find peace because of hunger, hunger is the first disease that people face every day in their communities.

We wish to express our solidarity with those who have lost their families; fathers, mothers, grandparents, uncles, sons, daughters, nephews and other family members. May our prayer as a Ministry reach your hearts and may the eternal comfort of our God continue to enlighten all families in the blessed eternal peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 29:12/John 14:12-14).

We have attached some photos of what happened and how we responded as a humanitarian organisation in the communities in Mozambique, what we said today "EBENEZER", our God is faithful.

In our today's devotional, Light for the Hunger Project staff team remembered to pray, for all Mozambicans, especially those affected by Cyclone Idai, and for all our brothers and sisters in the aboard and throughout Africa, as well as in the wider world, who have given their best in kindness to support the ministry in our work until today to continue our mission.

I wanted to make sure you saw our ministry update, since we are on the last day to give this year. Your gift made by midnight tonight goes towards our $36.000,00 goal for next year ministry budget that will help us continue to do the mission of educating, equipping, train, building houses and churches, providing, health care, Bibles, food for those in needs and planting new churches to spread the gospel among the Communities of Center of Mozambique.

As Light for the Hunger we want you to know that, every day, those in need are in good care and the gospel is taken around the communities by:

- Proclaiming the good news to unreached and least reached people in rural communities of Mozambique, and beyond it

- Training and equipping pastors, elders, youths, women and teenagers in Nhamatanda- Sofala.

- Mobilizing the churches in the communities to make disciples and reach the people by evangelism groups we are prepared with choir groups.

Hello, Today is the day!

The Christmas holiday is nearby, Today is blessed day! Today is a day to invest in the causes that matter the most to you—like reaching the poor in Mozambique in Nhamatanda in the community of Jone Segredo.

This week, I want to invite you to give to Light for the Hunger Project. This ministry exists to take the name of Jesus to people in rural communities that are living in deep need of poverty.

Our ministry staff and volunteers are serving hardly in our Center and in the communities by taking care of those in need living in deep poverty, LFTH is in the heart of Jone Segredo in a rural area where many programs are implemented to change the lives of the people with Bible-believing and action.

Our special request this week is for our workers as we enter the Christmas season, we would like to provide a Basic Christmas Basket of Food for them and their families. These people serve faithfully day and night, in sunshine and rain without giving up no matter what challenges and difficulties they are face.

Solomon wrote to parents the key word “ To teach” the child. … will not depart from it.
This means:
- Raise the child well;
- Train the child well;
- Instruct the child well;
- Teach the child well;
- Prepare the child well;
- To speak well as a child;
- To walk well as a child and more for the sake of their future.

As Light for the Hunger our mission with kids is quipping them well for the sake of their future, this is our mission for the cchildren in the communities we serve, because their future is a reflection of the all instructions.
