It aims to provide a platform to students of Northern University of Malaysia with accounting knowledge who would like to sharpen their skills and giving them exposure and visibility through accounting practice.

Our Story
Accounting Competency Challenge (ACC) is an accounting event organized by Universiti Utara Malaysia Student Representative Council (MPP-UUM). ACC is a competition-based event which aims to challenge the competency of individuals regarding their proficiency in various aspects such as knowledge, interpersonal skill, leadership skill, and other soft skills.

Build Your Competency, Challenge Your Limit
Objectives:
1. To strengthen individual’s accounting knowledge which is vital in developing a competent accountant in the working field.
ACC aims to enhance individuals‟ understanding of theoretical and practical accounting knowledge through exposure to the real corporate world.
2. To build exceptional interpersonal skills among individuals and to equip them with the attributes of a team player in order to form a cohesive team.
ACC aims to build a competent accountant holistically starting from their inner qualities and subsequently adopt these qualities into a team to construct a cohesive team.
3. To hone individua’s critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills in order to cope with the challenging working environment in the future.
ACC indirectly shapes individuals to endorse wider visions of thinking by observing and considering from various perspectives that contribute to practical outcomes. ACC hopes to develop individuals to become a capable candidate for the corporate world.
