The interim relaxation period has been extended until 31 December 2027, but let’s be clear:

🔹 The interim relaxation period has been extended until 31 December 2027
🔹 Previously set to end on 31 December 2026

⚠️ Important Clarification
This extension does NOT change the implementation timeline.

Businesses are still required to:
✔ Implement e-Invoicing as scheduled
✔ Submit consolidated e-Invoices on a monthly basis

💡 This extension provides additional flexibility to support a smoother transition — but compliance is still required.

📢 Stamp Duty Voluntary Disclosure (SD-VD) 2026 Is Now Open

Do you have agreements, contracts, or documents signed between 2023–2025 that were not stamped or stamped late?

LHDN has introduced the Stamp Duty Voluntary Disclosure (SD-VD) 2026 under the Program Khas Pengakuan Sukarela (PKPS) — allowing eligible taxpayers to regularise documents where stamp duty penalties may be waived, subject to conditions.

🗓 Programme period:
1 January 2026 – 30 June 2026

📄 Documents commonly affected:
✔ Agreements & contracts
✔ Tenancy & lease agreements
✔ Letters of offer / appointment
✔ Loan & financing documents
✔ Share transfer instruments

⚠️ Important:
Penalties may still appear on the assessment notice, but will be automatically waived during payment, if all PKPS requirements are met.

This is a time-limited compliance window before enforcement resumes.
