Hari ini, seorang kawan Melayu nampak posting isteri saya di Facebook tentang perniagaan kami menjual dan memasang sistem penapis air rumah. Dia telefon saya dan beritahu yang rumah dia pun ada pasang penapis air jenis membran, tapi air masih kotor. Dia minta tolong saya periksa apa masalahnya.
Bila saya sampai di rumah dia, saya terkejut dan terus cakap, "Alamak! Ini penapis dari syarikat mana?" Pemasangan memang salah dan penuh dengan masalah. Patutlah air dalam rumah dia tak tapis! Lagi teruk, air kumbahan masuk terus ke dalam rumah.
Saya pun terangkan apa masalahnya: tak ada injap air, tak ada saluran keluar untuk air kumbahan, dan air tapis tersumbat. Lagi satu, tak ada injap bypass. Saya bagi amaran, "Kalau membran ini tersumbat nanti, rumah awak langsung tak ada air, dan kena tunggu tukang paip untuk selesaikan."
Saya nasihatkan dia, "Lain kali, pastikan panggil profesional untuk buat kerja ini. Kalau tak, boleh jadi masalah besar macam ini."
