Welcome aboard to TF444! I am a scale modeller based in Langkawi Island, Kedah. I share my builds, memes and the occasional bit of gaming and weeb content

Built when I was still into tanks, a couple years back.
Tamiya's 1/35 T-72M1, converted into the PT-91M 'Pendekar' as used by Malaysia's Royal Armored Corps.

I used a crap ton of plasticard and unused bits from other armor kits for the ERA and turret bits.

The PT-91M's turret basket was entirely scratchbuilt while I replaced the kit tracks with T-90 double pin tracks from Meng.

More PE work on the Sovremenny. I am quite thankful that her railings come in pre-trimmed lengths so it is a simple matter of cutting them off the sheet and glueing in place

Got my hands on a 1/700 Sovremenny class after years of searching.

The original Dragon boxing comes with some nice PE, which is quite a cakewalk, since I have experience with PE from my 3 Alaska-class builds.

After the painting and marking stage, i worked on Enterprise CVN-80's armament next.

As a nod to the Gerald R. Ford class's futuristic aesthetic and Star Trek's Enterprise NCC-1701, I scratchbuilt a set of 4x AN/SEQ-3 LaWS lasers.

My CVN-80 now packs those lasers alongside 2 Phalanx CIWS and 2 Sea Sparrow launchers

In progress: USS Hawaii CB-3.

A stalled project since early December. With the new year coming, I'm pushing hard for her completion.

She is being painted in MS/22. A far simpler scheme than the MS/32 variants used on her sisters

CVN-80's at the painting stage. I masked and painted the '80' while the rest of her deck markings were decals

Comparison shots of pre-paint Enterprise CVN-80 to a Nimitz class from my collection.

Some shots of CVN-80's hull work

I scratchbuilt the rear sponsons from plasticard while the Gerald R. Ford-class's bulbous bow was sculpted from epoxy putty.

Since I was unwilling to scratchbuild an entirely new flight deck, I carved out deck inserts and extensions from plasticard and just butt joined them where necessary

One of the newest additions to my collection; USS Guam (CB-2)

This makes 2/3 of the 3 built Alaska-class sisters. USS Hawaii (CB-3) will be coming soon.

Enterprise CVN-80's island was converted from the kit parts, with a ton of scratchbuilding included

Here's a build I did a while back which was the Gerald R. Ford-class USS Enterprise CVN-80, in 1/700.

I used a Trumpeter USS Abraham Lincoln as the base.

The first step I did was to cut out the starboard elevators, deleted the number 3 elevator and moved the number 2 elevator further back.

And the painting stage is done!

Ägir's hull along with the red deck markings was masked and airbrushed while everything else was hand brushed.
