AI For Makers: Borneo Makers Festival 2026 was officially launched by The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak. He was joined by The Honourable Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, TEGAS Chairman, TEGAS Board of Trustees, Tuan Haji Udin bin Bujang, CEO of TEGAS, Prof Dr Patrick Then, CEO of SAIC, and distinguished guests.

AIFM supports Sarawak’s efforts to build AI-ready talent by encouraging young people to develop practical skills, explore technology and turn ideas into solutions.

AI For Makers: Borneo Makers Festival 2026 telah dirasmikan oleh Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Premier Sarawak. Beliau turut diiringi oleh Yang Berhormat Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Pengerusi TEGAS, Ahli Lembaga Pemegang Amanah TEGAS, Tuan Haji Udin bin Bujang, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif TEGAS, Prof Dr Patrick Then, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif SAIC, serta tetamu kehormat yang lain.

21 August 2026 | An exciting 66-hour game development journey came to an end at TEGAS Digital Village during the SwkGDC Game Jam 2026 Showcase & Presentation Day, organized by CtrlD Studio in partnership with TEGAS.

Starting on 18 August, 7 teams worked tirelessly to bring their game concepts to life, leading up to their their final pitches on the last day.
