This year, you will be learning from professional orchestra musicians, including Associate Principals from SUN Symphony Orchestra (Vietnam), our festival conductor and euphonium specialist, as well as experienced musicians performed in professional groups across Malaysia, including MPO.

One of our community members had his cello stolen on the evening of Saturday 8 August, after someone broke into his car near St Joseph's International School.

If it turns up for sale — online, at a shop, or through someone you know — please let us know.

This September, two coaches are running vocal sessions at SIBOCFest — one from Malaysia 🇲🇾, one from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and they teach the things most singers are never taught.

🇵🇭 Angelica Oquendo brings over 15 years of teaching experience from the Philippines. A graduate in Music Education (Voice Emphasis), she’s also recognised by Rockschool London and a registered teacher with the International Music Examinations Board Australia.

🇲🇾 Dell Lawrence has been a familiar face in Kuching’s music scene for years, performing at concerts, festivals, TV shows, weddings, and corporate events. Trained in classical voice and experienced across pop, jazz, R&B and ballads, Dell combines years of performance experience with a genuine passion for coaching singers.

Whether you’re a choir singer, a solo vocalist, or just beginning your vocal journey, you’ll pick up practical techniques, performance skills and receive valuable guidance from experienced coaches.
