Dr Bob dropped us a message 24h before flying into KK with a very special request.

Whilst we usually required 48h notice to prep our bikes, we managed to sort one out just in the nick of time.

Alas, the radiator fan decided to fail just after pick-up and the crew at Wang Maju got the matter solved first thing the next morning.

And so, off goes Bob on what we hope will be a fantastic Self-guided adventure across North Borneo over the next fortnight.

This off-road motorcycle skills program is designed to equip and empower riders of middleweight to large adventure motorcycles (above 160KG / above 35hp) with the necessary ability and knowledge to ride off-road with confidence and joy, AT THE NEXT LEVEL.

Participants will be exposed to real world off-road obstacles and drills that will challenge the capabilities gained from the Level 1 & Level 2 training programs prior to this event.

Riders will be trained to harness and utilise the necessary skills to overcome tough terrain in the safest and most effective manner possible. In the challenge segment (Special Stages), riders will be grouped into teams of two or three to perform and overcome designated obstacles. These activities will challenge their mental and physical fitness levels aside from sheer talent and skill.

This unique event will truly take riders to the NEXT LEVEL.

*Riders are expected to ensure respectable levels of fitness & health prior to participation.

Ewan and Bob picked up two of our CFMOTO 450MTX for a Malaysian Borneo trip over a fortnight. Bikes were fully loaded for long distance travel, equipped with side panniers, top box, phone holder and even a built-in USB A & C charger.
