Hi, I haven’t been active since 2022 and reckon this page will no longer be updated going forward. Life got hectic after my firstborn, followed by my father’s passing, waves of photo work and family commitments followed suit.

Honestly, staying off social media felt liberating. Photographer posts often feel vain, something I’m not a big fan of.

After 15 years as a full-time photographer in Penang, I’ve hit a plateau creatively and professionally. So I’ve decided to shift photography part-time, honouring all current bookings, and take a sabbatical to explore a new path.

Initially, with just the intent of toying with video content, it took an unexpected turn and I'm now stepping fully into real estate.

One random day the bride said simply that she'd wish to have a nice wedding instead of a traditional one and the groom took it to heart and gave her a beautiful one to remember!

On a side note, never felt so busy this lifetime before ever since baby is here and at the same time things are loosening/reopening and people are getting together again. Worthy of a mini celebratory post!

Today marks my 1st Father's Day.

But I don't feel any connection with the rationale of this day for myself simply because my first thought would immediately go to what my wife and many mothers out there have to go through in order to deliver a new life to this world.

Comparatively, you ladies are really strong & resilient in your own ways and I have a newfound understanding and respect for mothers instead.

The most challenging aspect of photographing young child is that they don't really understand or interested in a stranger's camera. It's super rewarding when I could get these little humans engaged.
