Why use Tent Pegs?

3. Drive the pegs into the ground at a slight angle: This helps to increase stability and prevent the tent from being pulled out of the ground by wind.
4. Secure the guylines: Guylines are ropes that run from the corners of the tent to the pegs and help to keep the tent taught. Make sure to secure the guylines tightly, but not so tight that they put undue stress on the tent.
5. Use a mallet: A mallet can help to drive the pegs into the ground more easily and prevent damage to the pegs or the tent.
6. Check the pegs regularly: During your camping trip, it's a good idea to check the pegs regularly to ensure that they are still secure and have not come loose. If they have, simply re-secure them.
