UOW Malaysia is where it all comes together.

The UOW Malaysia Education Counselling Centre is now open in Tanjung Tokong, making expert education guidance more accessible than ever.

Visit us: Mondays to Fridays 10am to 6.30pm, Saturdays 10am to 5pm.

A career talk session was successfully conducted for 56 students from hospitality and culinary arts backgrounds to gain valuable insights into the hospitality industry and internship opportunities. The session featured distinguished industry speakers representing renowned hotel properties. The invited speakers were Ng Shen-ynn, Kenneth Samsudin, Muhammad Ikmal Hakim Bin Bukhori from Marriott group Langkawi and Gabriel Jaime Batulay from Shangri-La group Penang.

Students also learned about internship opportunities at prestigious hotels including The St. Regis Langkawi, The Ritz Carlton Langkawi, Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah, Shangri La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, and Golden Sands Resort by Shangri La.

The session concluded with an engaging Q&A where students gained practical advice on professionalism, teamwork, and preparing for their future careers.
