🌏 Learning Beyond the Classroom | Culture & Heritage Studies

Our students and lecturer embarked on an on-site assessment at UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Penang, bringing classroom learning to life through real-world exploration. 🏛️📚

From heritage architecture and historic landmarks to local traditions and cultural practices, students had the opportunity to observe, analyse, and experience Penang’s rich cultural heritage firsthand.

The second week is all about finding your rhythm. 🌱📚 New faces, new routines and plenty of new experiences. Here’s to settling in, finding your community and making memories along the way!

On 24 July 2026, SHTCA members participated in Huawei Intelligent Day 2026 at the Exam Hall, Level 5, UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College. The programme introduced participants to Huawei's latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, smart connectivity, and digital transformation, demonstrating how these technologies are shaping the future of industries and education. The event provided valuable insights into emerging digital trends while encouraging innovation and future-ready skills among participants. SHTCA is proud to support initiatives that enhance students' and staff's exposure to industry developments and strengthen collaboration between academia and technology leaders.”
