Following up on the video on carbon credits by Carbon Bank, I have many people ask how much can your plantation/ladang/dusun can make from selling credits generated by your trees.

Here is Sawit Data's basic Carbon Credit calculator which you can use to get a rough estimate.

1. Visit https://sawitdata.com/carbon-credit-calculator
2. Choose the type of trees you have.
3. Enter the area of your plantation/dusun/ladang
4. Press calculate

You will get a rough estimate on the potential earnings in MYR. But please note that minus financing costs, management cost etc, you will earn cash value around 40% of the total estimation.

And yes, carbon credit trading is legal in Malaysia and can be Shariah-compliant.
