Sketchbooks travel in our minds

“El Marakame” - Our new piece in this one of a kind structure at Holistika Tulum. This mural illuminate the Marakame who is the guide of the Pe**te ceremony, the guy foraging the cacti in desert and channeling the visions from the unknowns.

Thanks to for the invitation and to for the worm hospitality we had such a special time painting in the jungle environment.

This time of the year sketching for our next projects and travels.

It was fulfilling and nostalgic to return and paint the entrance of the high school where we studied, the place where we took our first steps in the art path.
The connection between past memories and the present creation made the experience especially meaningful for us.
Thanks to the school principal and staff for the trust, openness, and the opportunity to close the circle in such a creative way.

Art has always been our place of escape and healing - in good times, but especially during the hard ones. The mural we painted in Raval, titled “El Escapismo”, Imagines a leap into a parallel world - one better than the one we live in. A world where imagination is liberated, and reality is repainted - with color, with hope, and with life.
