take notice of Tyse’s diverse talents. Tyse has appeared on several singing reality TV shows such as Canadian Idol, Making the Band 4, Gospel Challenge, and appearing as a judge on Blossoming Flower, an all female singing competition that aired in China & the UK. Through his experience on television, Tyse has been able to sharpen his skills as both a singer and performer. In early 2009, Tyse’s pen game finally paid off landing him his first song placement with YouTube star and Canadian Idol’s 7th runner-up, Mikey Bustos (who later went on to open up for The Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera). Tyse wrote “Crazy” which ended up on the album, Memoirs of a Superhero, which was released in stores and on all music streaming platforms. “Crazy” has since became a single release. 

Tyse went on to manage, develop, and vocal coach many aspiring and upcoming artists such as Kin Kane of Bulleez N Nerds (now The Weeknd), Jessie Reyez, and many other successful Toronto artists. In 2012, Tyse collaborated with 5 Rivers Entertainment and Toronto rappers 
B Magic & Noyz to create the single and video, “Refugee”. Making this the very first single he’s ever released as an artist. This single connected on a personal level with Tyse, B Magic, & Noyz as they have all experienced the challenges of being children of refugee parents who were forced to leave their stomping grounds in search of a better life. In 2013, Tyse discovered an amazing singing talent by the name of Tiff. He went on to manager, coach and develop her as an artist. Later on, Tyse teamed up with songwriter/producer Jack Knight of Bad Boy Records, and other talented producers & songwriters to create Tiff’s EP, ‘In the Beginning’. This was the first full length EP project co-produced and co-written by Tyse. Putting his solo career on the back burner, Tyse found great success turning his focus and vision towards coaching, developing, and writing for other up and coming artists which included Toronto’s Pop/Dance artist, Trish. Tyse penned the song “DJ Got Me” for her 2013 album, My Escape, and “Vacancy” for her 2016 album 222.



In 2020, Tyse gained a substantial following on TikTok after pointing the camera to his mom, Mama Hamo. Instantly the two became one of TikTok’s most infamous mother-son comedy duos. Gaining over 250K followers, millions of likes, and over 100 million video views on TikTok and Instagram, Tyse and Mama Hamo became a viral sensation. With all of this exposure, it only made sense for Tyse to strike while the iron was hot. Tyse began to create and post videos of himself singing both original and cover songs which eventually led him to release his original music as a solo artist. 



In March of 2022, Tyse released the original version of “Crazy” featuring Toronto Rapper, Sav. The song has a 2000’s R&B/Pop vibe that had started Tyse’s career as a songwriter. The release of Tyse’s second single, a Pop/Dance song called “Let’s Dance” Ft. Ayo Swizzo followed shortly after. In April of this year, Tyse released the Reggae/Pop single “2nd Place” which reached over 9K streams in its first week, far exceeding the streams of his previous singles. The success of these releases set the stage for Tyse’s next single, “Invincible,” which dropped in May. The Pop/Hip-Hop song with Toronto Rapper, Brizz created a huge buzz. The single reached over 18K streams in its first week, helping Tyse to gain over 50K streams on all of his singles. In just a few short months, Tyse released four singles all in different genres because according to him: “If consumers can listen to different types of music, why is it that artists can't do different types of music?”
