Following His Call - Struska

Saturday night there was a break in at the church property in Calpulalpan. This is the church that Brian De la Cruz and Brittany De la Cruz went to start. They had just stepped out in faith to purchase stock supplies for their new coffee/snack area. They stocked all the supplies into the new food cart and then realized that the lock they had would not fit. They locked up the property and left to purchase an appropriate lock. In the 20 minutes or so it took them to do that, someone cut the fence and went into the trailer and stole a lot of what they had just purchased as well as the churches coffee maker and hot water kettle.

Please pray for protection for this new church. As the kingdom is expanded Satan will work against.

They have lost several hundred dollars of things. This might not be devastating to some people but to missionaries starting a new work, it is extremely difficult. If you would like to help them financially you can do so directly.

Connections Connections is a ministry in Rosarito, Mexico. It was started in March 2016 by Ron & Kristy Struska. At Connections we fully plan your mission trip, whether serving at a local church, orphanage or other. Teams are housed at our Connections House dorms.

Day "one" of this week's home build was awesome! We were blessed to have a group on Saturday, including several contractors, come and begin working on this home (so this was sort of day two).

Meet the Salto Santos Family! Adriana (Mom), Luis (15), Brenda (14) and Ema (10). They will be blessed with a new home this month.

Please pray for one of the families left homeless by the April '10 earthquake in Mexicali. They will be blessed with a new home this week by a team from Redeemer Lutheran Church in Damascus, Maryland.

Individual's Week at ROC: June 26 - July 2, 2011 -- Come together w/other adults/teens/families from the US & Canada & build a home for a Mexican family in need.

This is a great way to take a mission trip to Mexico if your church/group isn't planning one this year, or to experience a home build if you are thinking of putting a team together in the future.
