As a Frontend Developer you don't always have to wait for the Backend Developer to finish setting up the server side of things for you to do your mockups and prototypes on the frontend, packages like:

json-server: https://www.npmjs.com/package/json-server

Can help you create dummy content that you can utilize while creating your frontend.

How to use it:

1. Install using the command below(with npm):
• npm install -g json-server

2. Create a file with a .json at the end (e.g db.json):

3. Run the json-server to start querying from your db.json file.
• json-server --port 3001 --watch db.json

You have to change the port if you are running a frontend framework that uses the port 3000.

Try it out and see if it makes work easier for you as a Frontend Developer.
