In February 2027, the GLTA World Tour heads to Western Australia for the pinnacle of the 2025–2026 season — the GLTA World Tour Championships.

For four unforgettable days, our global tennis community will come together on the grass courts of one of Perth’s most established tennis clubs.

Founded in 1922, Mount Lawley Tennis Club brings more than a century of tennis history and 14 premier grass courts — a spectacular setting in which to crown our 2027 World Champions.

And beyond the baseline, Perth is waiting.

🌅 Legendary sunsets at Cottesloe Beach.
🌿 Kings Park overlooking the city.
🏝️ Rottnest Island and its famous quokkas.
🍷 Western Australian food, vineyards and hospitality.
☀️ Summer in one of the most remote — and remarkable — cities on the GLTA World Tour.

The Championships are an invitation-only celebration of the very best of our 2025–2026 season — competition, friendship, connection and the shared passion that brings our community together around the world.

From the courts to the coast, this one will be special.

That was Warsaw Mermaids Open 2026.

Three days of singles and doubles, competition and close matches — but also conversations between courts, new friendships, familiar faces and plenty of reasons to smile.

Looking through these moments from Warsaw, they tell the story better than any results page could.

This is what travelling the GLTA World Tour is all about: arriving for a tennis tournament and leaving with another weekend of memories — and a few more people you’ll be happy to see at the next stop.

A huge thank you to Vova Morozov and Karolina Czyż, the Warsaw Mermaids team, volunteers and everyone who put their time and energy into making the second edition happen.

The 2026 GLTA Executive Board Elections have officially been announced! This year, two At-Large Director positions are open for 3-year terms (2027–2029).

Serving on the board is an incredible way to give back to our global tennis community, support tournament directors, expand outreach, and keep tennis inclusive and vibrant for LGBTQ+ players and allies everywhere.

That’s a wrap on Brussels! 🇧🇪🎾

Two days of tennis, plenty of great matches and a lot of good energy on and off the court. GLTA BrusselsGames XXVI Mixed Doubles, held as part of Brussels Games, was a great reminder of just how much fun mixed doubles can bring to a tournament.

Mixed doubles events are still something we don’t see often enough on the GLTA calendar — and Brussels showed us why we should. Different players sharing the court, playing together, competing together and creating a slightly different kind of tournament experience.

We would love to see more mixed doubles opportunities across the GLTA World Tour in the future. 🎾

A big thank you to Brussels Gay Sports BGS, the entire Brussels Games team, all the volunteers and everyone who helped make the weekend happen.

And a special thank you to Frederick, Aristela, Dominic, Didier and the Team for the event, for bringing the tennis side of Brussels Games together and creating such a welcoming atmosphere for the players. ❤️

Congratulations to everyone who played, competed and shared the courts with us in Brussels.
