Noiseworks Records was founded and established in 1989/1990 by Karsten Zinsik, in Chemnitz, Germany. In Autumn 2004, the brand Noiseworks finds a new owner: Patrick Obach. The idea to give the luxembourgish music scene a platform for international exchange was born.
