Dear friends of Storytellers -
Here is our music that we had the pleasure of sharing with you & your city, in that dream where we owned a coffee shop in Vilnius.
With love, Pete & Reda. ☕️

From its humble beginnings as a hall way, Pilies 42 became a tea shop, a chocolate shop & then home for the last three years - to coffee.
We were all over time, only ever care takers of this space. Whoever opened the door brought a new chapter, filled up the room with new stories, fresh hopes & ambitions.
Storytellers passed over the keys to Fairytale Coffee on September 16th. Beginning a new chapter in all of our lives & opening the door again for a new story.
Yours,
P&R

September the 15th marks the one year anniversary of our time here at Storytellers & the beginning of our final weekend here.
With a mixture of excitement, fear & sadness, your coffee shop duo are moving toward new ventures & adventures abroad.
We began this adventure by chance. Fresh out from the surf of Cornwall - we dropped everything, we quit our jobs, flew over & moved in.
People would come in the door & then return, again & again. Soon we were sharing stories, about work, about hope, ambition, art, family, about love & everything in between.
We met people from all over the city, the country & the world, so many people with stories of life to share. We learned that coffee was always just an excuse to have a conversation, a catalyst to bring us together.
This room where we share our final three days now, has become our home. Because of the people who have filled it with life. We feel connected in a larger way to the world through this smallest of spaces.
It’s been a wonderful chapter in our lives & we hope to carry the conversations & connections we have made here beyond this space into the rest our lives.
Our last day here will be this Sunday, the 16th September. Thank you to everyone who has shared this time with us - hope to see you one more time before we head off!
Yours, Reda & Pete.

Having survived our first winter, it feels like a nice way to play in the warmth of summer by capturing a little ice in our glasses.
We now offer iced cafe laté with smooth frothed milk, iced americano, iced tea & matcha latte, also our favourite flavours of Franklin & Sons lemonades… as well as our new cold chocolate, blended with coconut milk & cinnamon.

A throwback to the day this map found a home on our wall.
Every time we have the opportunity to ask somebody to place a pin upon it we fill a little more empty space with connection.
It’s a privilege to enjoy an open door to the world. Through the eyes & among the stories of our guests we feel as we’ve travelled far & wide.
It’s our ambition to fill this map with pins, to fill our little room with stories & perhaps in doing so - in some small way, help to bring the world closer together.

Dark & intense in flavour, this brownie is the best we’ve tried. Soft, dense & nutty chocolate cake is topped with rich chocolate ganache & finished with its most essential ingredient - a pecan nut. It’s very good with an espresso & makes us happy every time somebody discovers it like we did.

The combination of steamed milk and espresso is, for many, their favourite way to enjoy coffee. Why wouldn’t the choice of milk be as important as choosing the beans themselves?
We looked at fat content to add creaminess & a light foam. We also chose a milk with a good flavour which, when adding steam, would be deliciously sweet.
While many coffee shops in town choose to improve their profit margins by importing the cheapest Polish milk, which comes at an expense of customers's health and the flavour of the final drink, we would prefer to take any opportunity to support the good products we have here at home.
