Before I start a project, I don’t begin with style. I begin with you.
There are three questions I quietly return to –
they’re not technical, but they shape everything that follows:
1. How do you want to feel when you come home?
2. What kind of silence are you longing for?
3. What objects carry meaning for you – and which ones weigh you down?
Design, for me, doesn’t start with a color palette.
It begins with listening. With presence.
And with the trust that the space we’ll create
will hold more than things – it will hold you.

Prieš pradėdama projektą, nepradedu nuo stilistikos. Pradedu nuo jūsų.
Yra trys klausimai, prie kurių kiekvienąkart grįžtu.
Jie ne techniniai, bet nuo jų priklauso viskas, kas užgimsta vėliau:
1. Kaip norite jaustis, kai grįžtate namo?
2. Kokios ramybės jums labiausiai trūksta?
3. Kokie daiktai jums turi reikšmę – o kurie jus slegia?
Dizainas man neprasideda nuo spalvų paletės.
Jis prasideda klausymosi. Nuo buvimo kartu.
Ir nuo tikėjimo, kad erdvė, kurią kursime kartu, įkurdins ne tik daiktus –
ji įkurdins jus.

When a piece of furniture begins with a question:
Who are you meant to serve?
When I begin designing a piece, I don’t think of it as just another object in the room.
Instead, a quiet series of questions arises:
Who will it serve?
Will it invite people to sit together – or offer space to be alone?
How much must it hold – years, people, stories?
Some pieces speak loudly.
Others, you only feel once you've sat down, touched the surface, spent a moment beside them.
At first glance, they may not stand out.
But over time, they become something you don’t just use –
you keep.
Because a true piece is born from human need, not from trends.
And when it finds its place –
you feel it. Not just see it. You feel it.
If furniture means more to you than function –
we may be walking the same path.

Kai baldas gimsta iš klausimo: kam tu tarnauji?
Kai kuriu būsimą baldą, negalvoju apie jį kaip apie dar vieną objektą interjere.
Iškyla tylūs, bet esminiai klausimai:
Kam jis tarnaus?
Ar jis kviečia susėsti kartu? O gal – pabūti vienam?
Kiek turi „atlaikyti“ – metų, žmonių, istorijų?
Kai kurie baldai kalba garsiai.
Kitus pajunti tik prisėdęs, palietęs, pabuvęs šalia.
Iš pirmo žvilgsnio jie gali ir neišsiskirti,
bet laikui bėgant tampa tuo, ką norisi ne tik naudoti – bet ir išsaugoti.
Nes tikras baldas gimsta iš žmogaus poreikių, ne iš mados tendencijų.
Ir kai jis atsistoja savo vietoje – tu jį jauti. Ne tik matai. Jauti.
Jei baldai jums reiškia daugiau nei funkciją –
