Both are tolerant of all kinds of people, motivated to innovate and grow, and enthusiastic about new experiences 👉 "Here at Iterato, you're motivated to stay in your position and keep trying new things, which is very important to me. Colleagues are always sharing their experiences outside Iterato, which makes you realize what opportunities are open to everyone," says Justas.

Furthermore, Justas highlights the dynamic environment created by colleagues from various backgrounds, flexible working hours that accommodate everyone's schedules, and an open office space that fosters communication and equality. 🌞

🚗 If it has wheels and mechanics—bikes, cars, motorcycles—Justas into it. At 15, Justas bought an old car with saved-up money, just to learn and fix it;

🛫 This summer, he's heading to the USA with a work & travel program, planning to return to Iterato QA in October with new adventures under his belt.

🚶 As the seasonal depression slowly leaves our bodies and embrace the sunshine with open arms, we strut our stuff in the 4th edition of the 'Walkerato' walking challenge! Here are the results after the month-long challenge 👇

💪 We covered 7 668 373 steps, a distance of 5,478 kilometers together. This is almost the air distance between New York and London.

⛽And get this, driving that distance would require a whopping 357.5 liters of petrol. That's enough to power a small village or fill up a clown car. 💶And let's not forget the price tag—approximately 560 Euros.

🌱 Now, brace yourselves for the environmental side of things. By walking we planted 27388 virtual trees. This would be approx 17% of the area in "Vingio parkas" in Vilnius. And on 🔝 of that, we donate to One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. Since 2014, they've planted over 135.5 million trees with 378 partners across 82 countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific.

Meet Kristina Zoberniene : a former lawyer turned IT enthusiast at Iterato. Though she aimed for front-end development, her knack for details lead her to excel as a quality assurance specialist: “Learning front-end web development showed me, that I am better as a QA, as little details keep nagging me and I have to fix them”. 🐞

At Iterato, Kristina feels valued and included, contributing her expertise to an intriguing project that captures her curiosity. 🌱 The growth opportunities are plentiful, offering Kristina the chance to continuously expand her skill set and thrive in her new role. 🤗 She feels a sense of belonging since the company’s bi-weekly Friday lunch calls provide her with information about company and team achievements.

📚 Outside of her professional pursuits, Kristina is an avid reader and audiobook enthusiast, cherishing the quiet moments after work as she indulges in her "meditation state" of literary exploration. 🧳 She enjoys traveling and dreams of an extended stay in Tenerife, which is fueled by “work outside Lithuania” benefit from the company. For that, she is set on learning Spanish – a passion since her teenage years.

While initially immersed in chemistry back in school, Rytis later discovered a passion for programming at Kaunas University of Technology. In his professional journey, he navigated through QA, FE, and BE development, ultimately finding the allure of back-end work where the thrill of problem-solving and continuous improvement resonated with his aspirations. ✨

💯 "The best part of the job is problem-solving: when there is a problem and you need to come up with a solution. Also, mentoring brings me joy; I'm happy when my knowledge and experience can be useful," expresses Rytis.

But that's not all. Beyond coding, he once dominated basketball courts for a decade, delved into sports orienteering, and now explores skiing, Formula 1, and tech experiments with Kubernetes and htmx. 🧠

When it comes to dreams, Rytis paints a vivid picture of Japan. 👉 "I dream of going to Japan—not just a trip, but a quest to meet the Japanese technological solutions and culture. My focus on technology extends from computers and phones to cars. I'm always on the lookout for the latest trends, uncovering things that could be both applicable and useful, expanding my approach. Even in legacy code, I find value, recognizing that while it may not be the right solution now, it was once a pinnacle of excellence."
