Big sports teams usually have their mascots. Those energetic motivators that keep up the team spirit.

While we do not have someone dressed as a bull or a black cat roaming around the office - we do have an energetic four-legged friend that over time has become somewhat of a mascot to the team. She always sparks (or shall we say barks) joy in everyone's hearts, and yes, she sometimes steals food or acts like a trash raccoon. Despite that, she is everyone's favourite and even our clients and partners adore her.

Every company has its own traditions or special celebrations. Here at Scoding there are a few special occasions we mention every year:

November 23rd - this amazing Autumn day marks where it all officially started - Scoding became a company.

June 1st - the date we opened our Klaipėda office.

July 7th - a date we will always mention as the day our team became big enough to move into a seriously bigger office.

August 5th - the day we mention 5225 was created.

What is 5225? Guess you will have to join our company to find this one out! 😉

When you actually care about what you do - and care about the people you do it with a job is no longer just work, it is something that brings joy.
Every company has its unique points that appeal to employees.
What our team love most about Scoding is actually quite simple - company culture.

Staying in sync means everyone is up to date with what they need to be working on, everyone is acting in a coordinated fashion, and everyone believes in what they are doing. It definitely pays off 🤩

While staying in sync might be easier said than done - we have this down. Our teamwork is not only built on ambition, work towards a common goal or teambuilding exercises. It is built on communication, trust, honesty and most of all - friendship! Not the kind where we say a polite hello to one another and smile in the hallways but the kind where we spend all day together at the office and after that we still want to see the same people after work because, yes, they are just that amazing! 👌

We started the year with ambitious goals, hopeful dreams and many new projects. We spent 92 days in quarantine (still counting), hired 26 new employees, organised 5 amazing teambuildings, ate 40 traditional Friday lunches together, spent 3 days packing things, moved our entire office in about 16 hours and had more meetings, interviews, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime than we can count! 🎉

This year really did its best to deliver us the challenges. Hopefully, next year will bring twice as much of everything! Except for those 92 days of lockdown 😷

During this season, we take time to reflect upon the good things we have - our amazing team and the bond we share with each other as well as our clients. We appreciate working together and hope that the holidays and the coming year will bring us all happiness and success 🎄☃️
