But we all have a chance or a right to embrace each new day to do many things, just have to make the very best of it, and you have to open your heart to what the world can show you; and sometimes it's terrifying, and sometimes it's incredibly beautiful..
Take both!☺️

❤

Turns out, women who achieve amazing things tend to have a few traits in common. Here are a few that you can attempt to cultivate or recognize in yourself.

1. Assertiveness
If you find yourself backing into requests or questions and/or constantly apologizing for yourself, then you might need to harden your assertiveness quotient. Trade in your inner pussycat for an inner tiger. Just try not to be too ferocious to over-compensate.

2. Empathy
A lot of women think that “typically female” traits like empathy are to be downplayed, when instead they should be considered an asset. Empathy means you can listen and understand where other people are coming from—their needs and feelings and desires. Learn to be understanding and intuitive, without getting derailed by sentimentality.

3. Passion
You may have lots of skill and experience, but without passion for what you’re doing, you’re likely not to elevate your work to the next stage. Loving what you do means innovating, striving, challenging yourself. And it makes the time you put in pleasurable and worth every moment of your journey to the top. Passion also brings energy, which you’ll need to persevere.

4. Imperfection
Trying to be “perfect” or expecting perfection from those around you is a one-way ticket to everyone being miserable. Really successful women know this isn’t possible all the time. Embrace your flaws. Find people who complement your strengths. And keep your head down. Be the best you can be at each thing, then move on.

5. Power
Rise to the top. Once you get there, you get to write your own rules. You’ll find, paradoxically, that the higher up you go, the easier your life gets. You’ll have more control in the kind of workplace you create for yourself and your employees.

6. Faith
Believe in yourself. Believe that you will be successful. Believe in your crazy ideas. And be ready to think on your feet in order to realize them. You could also call this ego—the confidence to get done what you need to get done (rather than the inflated head variety).

7. Adaptability
If stress flummoxes you, then you might have a hard time in your rise to success. You’ll feel more capable of handling this amount of stress at different times, of course, but in general, the more you build up your tolerance the better. Find ways to make your life as restful, de-stressed, and easy as possible. And concentrate your mental energy on the work at hand, rather than hyperventilation.

8. Courage
What would you do if you had no fear? Taking risks doesn’t necessarily mean doing reckless things, but it does mean making calculated decisions and trying things that might be considered “risky.”

9. Self care
Really successful people rest as hard as they play. They take good physical care of themselves: exercising and eating right, taking mental health days if possible, and knowing when to say “no” and when to take alone time, etc. They’re able to step away from their never ending to-do lists and do something that will keep them going with enough fuel to keep powering through.

10. Gratitude
Really successful women realize that their success did not occur in a vacuum—both at home and at work. And they are able to say thank you and express genuine gratitude and appreciation to the people who have helped them get where they are. They treat their colleagues with kindness and respect and receive respect and admiration in return.

Good read from one of Sonam Kapoor's articles...

"So, for every teen girl leaning into her bedroom mirror, wondering why she doesn’t look like a celebrity: Please know that nobody wakes up like this. Not me. Not any other actress. (Not even Beyoncé. I swear.)

Here’s the real deal: Before each public appearance, I spend 90 minutes in a makeup chair. Three to six people work on my hair and makeup, while a professional touches up my nails. My eyebrows are tweezed and threaded every week. There’s concealer on parts of my body that I could never have predicted would need concealing.

I’m up at 6am every day and at the gym by 7:30. I exercise for 90 minutes and, some evenings, again before bed. It’s someone’s full-time job to decide what I can and cannot eat. There are more ingredients in my face packs than in my food. There’s a team dedicated to finding me flattering outfits.

After all that, if I’m still not “flawless” enough, there are generous servings of Photoshop.

I’ve said it before, and I will keep saying it: It takes an army, a lot of money, and an incredible amount of time to make a female celebrity look the way she does when you see her. It isn’t realistic, and it isn’t anything to aspire to.

Aspire to confidence. Aspire to feeling pretty and carefree and happy, without needing to look any specific way.

And the next time you see a 13-year-old girl gazing wistfully at a blemish-free, shiny-haired Bollywood actress on a magazine cover, bust the myth of flawlessness for her.

Tell her how beautiful she is. Praise her smile or her laugh or her mind or her gait.

Don't let her grow up believing that she's flawed, or that there's anything she's lacking for looking different from a woman on a billboard. Don’t let her hold herself to a standard that’s too high, even for the women on the billboards..

Here’s a list of 22 little things every woman can use in her life. Do we need all of them all the time? Of course not. But skim through this list and see if there are things you could add or adjust. *Immunity Boosting Food*

As coronavirus has impacted communities around the world, many people have wondered whether there are steps they can take to stay healthy. Everyday preventive measures such as handwashing, avoiding contact with sick individuals, and good hygiene can go a long way in reducing the risk for viruses & bacterias etc.

Also eating a well-balanced diet, with plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, plant and animal proteins and healthy fats is the best way to get all the essential nutrients we need for good health and normal immune function. The following foods may help to boost the immune system:

: contain a type of flavonoid called anthocyanin, which has antioxidant properties that can help boost a person’s immune system. Researchers found that people who ate foods rich in flavonoids were less likely to get an upper respiratory tract infection, or common cold, than those who did not.

: is a yellow spice that many people use in cooking. It is also present in some alternative medicines. Consuming turmeric may improve a person’s immune response. This is due to the qualities of curcumin, a compound in turmeric.

: According to a review, ginger has anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties and is likely to offer health benefits. However, more research is necessary to confirm whether or not it can effectively prevent illness.

:
Almonds are another excellent source of vitamin E. They also contain manganese, magnesium, and fiber.A small handful or a quarter of a cup of almonds is a healthful snack that may benefit the immune system.

: are an excellent source of vitamin C, which is the vitamin that many people turn to when they feel a cold developing.

: contains an antioxidant called theobromine, which may help to boost the immune system by protecting the body’s cells from free radicals.Free radicals are molecules that the body produces when it breaks down food or comes into contact with pollutants. Free radicals can damage the body’s cells and may contribute to disease.

: helps your immune system by reducing inflammation and improving your blood chemistry. Your cells love this healthy oil and perform better when you have enough omega-3s. Fish oil promotes brain health and heart health, protects against cancer, depression, bowel disorders, and arthritis, and prevents or improves a myriad of skin conditions, such as psoriasis.

: Vitamin A is considered essential to normal immune functioning, and leafy greens like spinach are packed with beta-carotene, a form of vitamin A that is also an antioxidant. On top of that, leafy greens are a good source of folate, and some research suggests that a deficiency may impair immune response.

: Currently, garlic is widely used for several conditions linked to the blood system and heart, including atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), high cholesterol, heart attack, coronary heart disease, and hypertension.Garlic is also used today by some people for the prevention of lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, re**al cancer, and colon cancer.

: A good source of vitamin C and beta-carotene, broccoli also contains sulfur compounds that research suggests may boost production of glutathione, an antioxidant compound. In terms of immune support, glutathione works by attacking free radicals to minimize their potential damage. This allows the immune system to focus on staying healthy, not repairing itself from damage.

: is another food that supports immunity via its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity. The flavonoid antioxidants found in pomegranate juice have also been shown to combat viruses, and decrease the length of a cold by as much as 40%

Boost your immunity to live healthy!
