ඉහල Storage capacity තියෙන Hard disk වල data store කරන ඔබට පණිවිඩයක්

පහත රූපයේ තිබෙන්නේ පසුගිය සති කිහිපයේ අප ආයතනයට data recovery සඳහා ලැබුනු portable hard disk කිහිපයකි. පිලිවෙලින්,

02. Seagate 5TB 2.5"
03. WD 4TB 2.5"

මේ තුනෙන් WD එක ගලවා තිබුනු අතර අනෙක් ඒවා ක්‍රියා නොකලත් කිසිවක් නොකර තිබුනි. ගලවා තිබෙන WD hard disk එක සඳහා වෙනම අමතර මුදලක් අතුලත පිරිසිදු කිරීමට සහ platters clean කිරීමට වැයවනු ඇත. එම නිසා,

⭕කිසිම විටක Youtube බලාගෙන hard disk ගැලවීම සිදුනොකරන්න. එසේ ගැලවීමෙන් විද්‍යාත්මකව කල හැකි කිසිවක් නොමැත. එතුලින් වන්නේ පිටත වාතයේ ඇති විවිධ දූවිලි අංශු (විශේෂයෙන්ම ඉතා සියුම් ලෝහ අංශු) ඇතුල්වී platter එකට ඇලවී කාර්‍යය තව තවත් බරපතල වීම පමණයි.

මන්ද එසේ සරලව කල හැකි නම් අප විසින් ලක්ශ ගනන් වියදම් කර ඔබගේ data සාර්ථකව recover කිරීම සඳහා Lab එකක් සාදන්නේද නැත.

මෙම hard disk තුනම head replace කිරීම තුලින් පමණක් data recover කරන්න සිදුව ඇත. ඒ සඳහා donor drives වලට ඉතා අධික මුදලක්ද වැයවනු ඇත. එය ඔබටත් donordrives.com යන වෙබ් අඩවියෙන් දැකබලාගන්න හැකියි.

සාමන්‍යයෙන් ඉහත තිබෙන 4TB Seagate 2.5" ST4000LM024 එකක donor drive එකක් $277 සිට $500 වැනි මුදලක් වෙනවා. දලවශයෙන් ලංකාවේ මුදලින් 60000 සිට 100000 පමණ. එම නිසා Process එකට සම්පුර්ණ වශයෙන් මුලු මුදල රු. ලක්ශය ඉක්මවනවා.

මෙයාකාරයට heads replace කර හෝ ලබාගත හැකිවන්නේ පහත සඳහන් තත්වයේ ඔබගේ hard disk එක පවතී නම් පමණි.

🔹Hard disk එකෙහි platters වලට damage එකක් සිදුව නැත්නම්,
🔹Service area එකට සහ system files වලට access ඇති නම් සහ damage වී නොමැති නම්,
🔹Platters degrade වී නොමැති නම්,

යන කාරණා මත පමණක් data recovery කිරීම සිදු කල හැකි වෙනවා.

තවද අප සතුව කුමන අධි තාක්ශණික උපකරණ පැවතුනද වාසනාවද තිබිය යුතුය.මන්ද හැම hard disk එකක්ම recoveryකල නොහැක.ඉහත තත්වයන්හි නොපැවතුනහොත් ඔබට ඇත්තේ දෙවින්ගේ පිහිට පමණයි.

⭕එම නිසා ඔබත් photographer කෙනෙක් හෝ videographer කෙනෙක් නම් කිසිම අවස්තාවක 2TB hard disk එකකින් එහාට data store කිරීමට නොයන්න. මන්ද හදිසියේවත් hard disk එක fail වුවහොත් ඔබට නැතිවන්නේ එයට අදාල data ටික පමණක් වන බැවිනි.

⭕තවද අධික කාලයක් භාවිතා නොකරන backup තිබේ නම් සීල් කර තබා ගැනීම නුවණට හුරුයි. (කුඹින් සහ වෙනත් කෘමින් breather hole එකෙන් හෝ head connector එක අතර ඇති රබර් එක විනාශ කර ඇතුල් වුවහොත් ගැටළු සහිත විය හැකියි.

⭕Data backup කිරීමට portable hard disk වෙනුවට desktop hard disk යොදාගැනීමද කල හැකි නම් වඩාත් හොඳයි.

⭕Portable hard disks සාදා ඇත්තේ එදිනෙදා කටයුතු සඳහා මිසක් දීර්ඝ කාලයක් data තැන්පත් කර තැබීමට නොවේ.

නැතහොත් විශාල data storage එකක් අවශ්‍යනම් අවම වශයෙන් RAID mirror එකක්වත් භාවිත කරන්න. එයද fail වුවහොත් recover කිරීමට විශාල මුදලක් වැයවේ.

බොහෝ දෙනෙකුගේ මිත්‍යා මතයක් තිබෙනවා හැම hard disk එකක්ම recover කිරීමට හැකියාවක් ඇති බවට. නමුත් හැම එකකම එසේ කිරීමට හැකියාවක් නැත. එම නිසා මෙවැන් අවස්තාවල ඔබගෙ වාසනාවද සෘජුව බලපානු ලබයි.

⭕Tried to remove reading heads but it was unsuccessful attempt, which lead to heavily damaged the reading heads.
⭕Due to power on the hard disk, where the head stack is damaged, the platters were also damaged and can be seen ripples on the platter.

❌ Media damage hard disks are very difficult to recover and most of them ended with waste of time and resources.

⚠️️Please do not allow to open the hard disk, if not qualified, inexperienced and does not have proper tools and equipment.

This external hard disk was dropped when it was inside of a back pack. You clearly see the bend reading head at the top surface of the platter.

🔸When we plugged it into utility beep noise came inside of the HDD.
🔸That noise clearly indicated that head was sticked on the platter surface
🔸We use our unstick tools and skills to remove the head from the platter to prevent any damage to the platter surface.
