Centre for Handicapped

We were honored to welcome Mr. Sivasuthan Ramanathan, Senior Program Officer from the Australian High Commission to the Centre for Handicapped (CFH), who joined us for a field visit to observe our work on the ground.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to share our ongoing efforts in supporting persons with disabilities through rehabilitation, assistive devices, and community-based empowerment initiatives. We deeply appreciate the time taken to engage with our beneficiaries and witness firsthand the impact of our programs.

With compassion and generosity, little Anabelle and Gilbert Grimes raised funds to gift the precious blessing of clear vision to children in need. Through this thoughtful initiative, coordinated by the Centre for Handicapped, 17 pairs of spectacles were donated to students of Pathadumbara Maha Vidyalaya.
A heartfelt thank you to Anabelle, Gilbert, and all the well-wishers whose kindness made this meaningful gesture possible. Your generosity has not only improved vision but also brought renewed confidence, brighter smiles, and hope for a better future to these children.

ජීවිතය කෙතරම් අභියෝගාත්මක වුවත්, දහසක් බාධක හමුවේ පවා සිනහමුසු මුහුණින් ඒ සියල්ලට මුහුණ දෙන මහා අසිරිමත් ශක්තියක් ඇති මව්වරුන් අප අතර සිටිනවා. හදවතින් මෘදු වුවත්, තම දරුවන් සහ පවුල වෙනුවෙන් නොසැලෙන ධෛර්යයකින් ලොවක් දිනන්නට වෙර දරන ඒ උතුම් මාතෘත්වය අපට නිරන්තර ආදර්ශයකි. සෙනෙහසින් සහ කැපවීමෙන් අපේ ජීවිත මෙන්ම මේ මුළු ලෝකයම ලස්සන කරන CFH පවුලේ සිටින එවන් අභිමානවත්, ශක්තිමත් මව්වරුන් ඇතුළු ලොව වසන සියලුම ආදරණීය මව්වරුන්ට ආදරය පිරි සුබ මව්වරුන්ගේ දිනයක් වේවා! ❤️✨

No matter how challenging life may be, there are mothers among us with an extraordinary strength who face every obstacle with a smile. Though tender at heart, their noble motherhood is a constant inspiration as they strive to conquer the world with unwavering courage for their children and families. வாழ்க்கை எவ்வளவு சவாலானதாக இருந்தாலும், ஆயிரம் தடைகளுக்கு மத்தியிலும் புன்னகையுடன் அனைத்தையும் எதிர்கொள்ளும் மகா சக்தி படைத்த தாய்மார்கள் எம்மத்தியில் உள்ளனர். மென்மையான இதயம் கொண்டிருந்தாலும், தமது பிள்ளைகளுக்காகவும் குடும்பத்திற்காகவும் தளராத துணிச்சலுடன் உலகை வெல்லத் துடிக்கும் அந்த உன்னத தாய்மை எமக்கு என்றும் முன்மாதிரியாகும். அன்பினாலும் அர்ப்பணிப்பினாலும் எமது வாழ்வையும் இந்த உலகையும் அழகாக்கும் CFH குடும்பத்தின் பெருமைமிகு தாய்மார்கள் உட்பட உலகெங்கும் வாழும் அனைத்து அன்புத் தாய்மார்களுக்கும் இனிய அன்னையர் தின நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்! ❤️✨
