2025 carried its fair share of incredibly testing moments…ones I weathered with as much resilience as I could muster. Yet at its core, it has been a year of quiet reflection, unlearning and relearning, and returning to the coziest home within. Amidst both tragedy and blessing, one thing has become clear…I’ve found deep comfort in practicing presence, trusting timing, and reconnecting with the universe within.

This year bestowed me with a powerful personal gift of witnessing the freedom, beauty, and strength that comes with surrendering to life’s natural flow. Life only tastes as it should when we stop resisting it. After all, what is meant to prevail will…what remains in our hands is the choice of how we meet it. And I personally choose ‘presence’…the deepest calm and joy I’ve known so far.

Grateful for the chapter that’s closing, and welcoming the next with open arms. Looking forward to 2026! ✨

Seeing more and more signs of how toxic the acting space in Sri Lanka is becoming. I’m grateful I moved with discernment and continued to ground myself in other fields I’m qualified in. It’s sad that those of us who genuinely love the art have to be hyper-vigilant in selecting projects, keeping our distance to some extent simply to avoid being pulled into a diabolical system. But I’d choose that any day over the alternative. At peace, and never reliant on a hollow, soul-crushing façade.
