It is with deep sadness that we share that Pastor Laurie entered glory on 22nd May 2026.

Pastor Laurie first ministered at Brookside Church in 1993, and over the past 33 years became a cherished friend of our church family, an impactful preacher of God’s Word, and a faithful servant of Christ. His ministry, encouragement, and unwavering friendship have left a lasting mark not only on our congregation, but on many others.

We are deeply grateful for the love and friendship that he and Kathee so generously extended to Brookside Church and to many through these many years. Their lives and ministry have blessed countless people.

We continue to thank God for Pastor Laurie’s life, ministry, and legacy, and we keep Kathee and the family in our prayers during this time.

Mother’s Day Blessing at Brookside was held on Sunday, 10th May! It was such a wonderful and blessed time as we gathered together to appreciate and honor our mothers biological, spiritual mothers, and every amazing mother figure who has loved, cared, prayed, and sacrificed for others.

Thank you to all our incredible moms for your unconditional love, strength, prayers, wisdom, and dedication. You are truly a gift from God and a blessing to generations.

We are grateful for each one of you. God is so good! ❤️
