There is a moment in childhood where belief is not yet broken, only softened—where something small, imperfect, and deeply personal is placed beneath a pillow and left for care to arrive.

Tooth Under the Pillow emerges from this suspended space between loss and reward, tenderness and quiet absurdity.

The works hold gestures of hope that persist even when their logic dissolves—where ritual continues after belief has thinned.

This body of work explores hope not as certainty, but as habit.

Drawing from childhood mythologies of exchange—loss, offering, reward—the “tooth” becomes both absence and gift.

The pillow becomes a threshold: between the body and imagined care.

This series was recently exhibited as part of a group exhibition at the Nepal–Sri Lanka International Wellness Day celebration, where these ideas were held in a shared space of reflection and exchange.

In essence, this work returns to a simple belief: that even in incompleteness, there is a kind of wholeness in continuing to make, to feel, and to remain open to care.

Satisfy Your Soul, 2025
30 cm ×30 cm ( pigment ink, acrylic ink on canvas)
Souls are created to be loved.

The collection "SATISFY YOUR SOUL" is about the divine intimacy of the soul; the way He calls us into joy, filling the deep places within the soul that nothing else can reach. Through light, texture, and movement, each work is a reminder: to rest, to trust, and to delight in a love that is eternal. It is not about indulgence, but alignment; that true fulfillment comes not from grasping, but from receiving. Like sunlight through stained glass, the joy He gives illuminates from within, transforming even the darkest corners into radiant reflections of grace.

"i’m here. still.
fully or half fully or partially fully
dressed up in my honey flesh,
holding blood and breath you can’t see
i’m here. aren’t i?"
