Experts say Earth has the resources that can take care 9 times the current global population. How ever the reason for the current mess is our societies miss management resources , over consumption, greed and insatiable appetite for more.

Most of us individuals are responsible for this situation we are in. As every “unchecked” action/addiction contributes to this monster that’s so much global and personal too.
The good news is, just like each individual contributed in getting us into this situation, we are also able to get out.

Being mindful about our consumption of tangible (food, clothes, cosmetics, cars etc) and non tangible (media, literature, beliefs etc) redirect towards true human evolutionary potentials.

So remember, the only change you have to make in the world, is your self! 🌎

Here’s an easy step by step process to make your own solar oven.
A simple creation that makes you independent from a centralized energy grid that’s globally effected due to inflation, scarcities, wars and all kinds of other reasons that the regular joe has no hand in.
Since nobody seems interested in offering solutions for the problems we as an island and globally are facing, here’s the the beginning of a series of posts on offering creative and fun alternatives to navigate through these times of extreme change.

1. Build a box that is a great insulator, for this we have used a styrofoam box which isn’t too high so the rays of the sun would reflect easily.
2. Afterwards build a box around it to hold the insulating box, for thi we have used OSB plates.
3. Attach glass plates as lids for the box, this doesn’t have to be a permanent fix.
4. Make sure the back flap of the box reflects the rays of the sun directly to the pans. The hinges should be flexible, for this we have used a rubber tube as a hinder.
5. For the inside of the box use reflective material, for this solar stove we have used foil.
6. Use black pans and pots to cook. Between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm is a great to cook food.
