In a rain-affected contest, MAS Intimates showcased a powerful batting performance, posting an impressive 296/9 in just 39 overs. The highlight of the innings was Chathuranga Rajapaksha's remarkable knock of 153 runs off just 85 balls, including 14 boundaries and 10 sixes. His explosive innings set the stage for a dominant total.
Supporting Chathuranga, Ramith Gunarathne contributed a solid 46 runs, while Kalana Sandeep chipped in with a handy 41 runs, helping MAS Intimates reach the massive total.
NS & WC, in response, found themselves in deep trouble early, managing only 43/5 in 15 overs before the rain interrupted play once more. Despite MAS Intimates' commanding position, the game ended without a result due to the weather.

MAS Intimates triumphed in their second match of the Mercantile Cricket Tournament, defeating Commercial Bank by 7 wickets at the Bloomfield Cricket Ground. Commercial Bank was bowled out for 151 runs, with Kalana Sandeepa delivering an impressive performance, taking 4 wickets for just 13 runs and earning the Man of the Match. MAS Intimates successfully chased the target in 27 overs, thanks to notable contributions from Bihanga Mendis, who scored 71 runs, and Ramith Gunarathna, who added 51 runs. Asela Sampath also shone with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 46 runs.
